When will I recieve my images?
You will receive a 20 image sneak peek within 48 hours of the conclusion of your wedding, and your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 8 weeks! Immediate wedding previews can be added to your collection as well!
What are immediate wedding previews?
This option allows you to receive your full sneak-peek by 8am the following morning after your wedding day for only $249.
Do you have any add on options available?
I also offer plenty of a la carte options which can be added to your collection if desired! These options include, but are not limited to, Videography, bridal boudoir sessions, adventure honeymoon sessions, second photographers, fine art prints, albums & more!
Do you do Elopements + Destination Weddings?
YES! I absolutely love to travel and would be honored to be by your side capturing your special adventure, Consider me there, every step of the way! I am a well seasoned traveler (12 countries and 38 states + counting) and I would love to help you plan + capture your day! Special rates are available for destination weddings, elopements, and small intimate weddings (30 or less guests)! Don't hesitate to reach out to me for any inquiries you may have!
Is your business insured?
YES! My business is completely insured and I can provide any necessary paperwork to your venue! Just let me know if they need it!
Will our images be in High Resolution?
Absolutely! From your personal gallery you can download ALL of your images in high-res or web-sized files straight to your phone or PC. The software I use is super user friendly and showcases your images beautifully.
Why/when would I need a second shooter?
I must say, I feel very, very confident working by myself! I have worked MANY weddings alone, and many of those doing BOTH photo + video coverage simultaneously. A full day of coverage allows me to schedule my day with plenty of time to capture everything I need to tell your story perfectly. When would I recommend a second shooter? If you are planning a larger wedding (150+ guests), a wedding with multiple locations that would require me to be in two places at once, or you just want more angles + additional images, you will benefit from a second shooter! Feel free to ask me what I would recommend for your specific situation!
How are my images delivered?
Your images will be delivered on a shareable private online gallery. You will receive your gallery link via email. You can share your gallery link with others or keep private! If you book a collection that includes the custom wooden keepsake box, you will also receive your images on a beautiful matching USB.
Can I print my images?
ABSOLUTELY! I truly believe your photos are (+should be!) meant to be physically cherished for years to come! There is absolutely nothing like flipping through a gorgeous, thick paged, tangible, fine art album and reliving the magic of your wedding day all over again. Now, I haven't been married yet, so that is coming from young "little Betty " who absolutely adored sifting through her parent's wedding photos whilst growing up. Those mean something, y'all!
Included in all collections is a 20% OFF discount code to use at your convenience for your first Fine Art Print + Album order, IF you decide to print through the shop on your gallery! Custom Album Design is included as well! If you would like to print somewhere else, that is totally fine too! You will receive a print release to all images in your final gallery.
Can I purchase rights to the RAW/UNEDITED images from my wedding day?*
YES, YOU SURE CAN WITH ME! Finding a photographer that is willing to offer the rights to the raw/unedited images from their wedding day is like finding a needle in a haystack. But, I do genuinely love the unedited images from weddings just as much as the edited, usually, and I know that I would want my RAW files from my big day too!
*A few things to know:
- - This is not EVERY image that I will take on your day. I will still do 1 round of culling (removing any duplicates, and any images that are extremely unflattering, blurry, etc)! Trust me, you want me to do this step for you; and you will still get an INSANE amount of images back.
- - You will receive these files after you receive your full edited gallery, first.
- - There is another contract clause to look over when adding this option; that goes over editing + sharing + copyright terms.
- - You can chose to receive your files one of two ways: 1) As unedited, saved high-res JPG files through an online gallery to be downloaded by you, or, 2) As the full RAW files, delivered via an additional flash drive/external hard drive. We can discuss the differences in these two options, and which would be best for you guys! (cost: $5,000)
What if I have a giant pimple on my wedding day?
Do not stress - I've got you!!! We have all been there! Anything that is not permanent, I will edit away!
If you would like something permanent removed (birth mark, mole, etc) please let me know and we can discuss!
What if I don't know how to pose?
Don't even let this be a worry!! This is why you're hiring a professional; it's my job to help you every step of the way, and I will make sure you all look amazing! My goal when photographing weddings is to be 75% candid and 25% posed (but posed to look natural!).
What kind of equipment do you use?
I currently use 2 of Nikon's new Z Mirrorless camera bodies, and have full frame Nikon back up equipment as well. These camera systems are state of the art and absolutely incredible with both photography + videography, and have duel camera slots for double back up! With these cameras, I use a variety of lenses throughout your wedding day. My most common duo is my Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 and my Nikkor Z 85mm 1.8. In addition to those I also use the Nikkor Z 50mm 1.4 lens, 2 LensBaby Lenses, macro adapters, filters + more.
I also am extremely comfortable with using off camera lighting! I use a GODOX lighting system for both my speed lite and for off camera flash / strobe. Since weddings are so fast paced I do typically try to stick to using mostly natural light + my speed lite (seeing as it's so small + portable). Doing this allows keep grooving with the pace of the day, and keeps me from drawing too much attention to myself (because I try to be like a "fly on the wall" , for the most part, so I can capture the day as it naturally unfolds - kinda hard to do that when packing around a big flash umbrella + stand). When needed though (like when its a monsoon out and we have to create all the magic indoors), or when there is time for a little extra ~creativity~ **dreamy eyes**, I do love to use my off-camera strobe flash and beauty dish to create some high dramatic Fine Art wedding photos! Btw, If you're already interested in getting these kind of pictures, just let me know and we can preplan the magic!
I also like to use my super cool, glass prism/fractals during some parts of the day (especially during the reception when everyone is gettin' downnn!). These can really add a cool effect to the photos + video footage. I have a MOZA AIR 2 camera gimbal to use when needed for videography, Sony Recording Mics, tripods, etc.
For backing up your images, I use 4 different systems to ensure everything is safe. 1) RAWS immediately saved on a SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD drive, 2) second back up of RAWS on a WD external hard drive, 3) RAWS backed up to cloud software, and lastly, 4) keep all images on their original XQD/SD memory cards until full gallery has been delivered.
What discounts do you offer?
I offer discounts to my couples for: military, teachers/professors, emergency response workers, LGBTQ+ couples, senior citizens, week-day weddings, weddings under 30 guests, and for paying in full at booking (weddings over $2k).
Discount amounts vary, ask for details if you qualify!
How many weddings have you photographed?
As of Spring 2022, I have photographed over 50 weddings as the lead photographer since 2017.
